Andrew McGhie

After working in book publishing for many years in London - for companies such as Conran Octopus, Hamlyn and Quadrille - Andrew escaped to Kenya and has been based in Lamu since 2002. He has spent several years researching Lamu's history and architecture, and when he isn't busy building and selling houses he is completing two books about some of the most colourful episodes in the island's past. Andrew designs and manages building projects as well as liaising with property buyers and sellers.

Caroline Pulver

After several years working in Asset Management in London and New York, Caroline now works as a consultant supporting the development of inclusive financial markets in developing nations. She is based in Lamu and Nairobi. As well as a BA in Fine Art, Caroline has an MBA in International Economics from SDA Bocconi, Milan. Caroline focuses on the financial management of building projects, and handles any financial queries from property buyers and sellers.
